Markato is a curated wholesale marketplace connecting
unique global brands with trusted retailers in Asia.
I created the brand identity and tone of voice for Markato. I also support the team on adapting and refining the existing desktop interface into mobile.
The goal is to reflect the web interface design to the mobile version in order to create seamless buying and selling experiences for the users.
In order to reflect that the logotype is complemented by a stylized “m”. It is inspired by the Chinese radical “宀” which means “roof”. It conveys the idea of buyers and sellers are under the roof of Markato and they are well-taken care of.
